Prince??? …. It’s a Frog!!!
Eric, it’s been a few weeks since we talked. I like your new picture. You called it “Prince??? …. It’s a Frog!!!”. How did you come up with that name?
I did my last series on the book of Revelation. These were the first biblical pictures that I ever created digitally. I was really concerned when I published these pictures because I believed that I would chase my visitors away. However, a very interesting thing happened, these posts became the most read on my site and I have increased my visitors more than three fold. So I thought that I would create another biblically based picture. Therefore, I created this picture about a woman who is looking for a prince but finds a frog.
Seriously…? You’re joking right?

I have a son who is a freshman in college. He came home for the first time last week with some interesting stories. He told us about this girl who slept with a boy in the dorm and was crying the next day. This guy has a big appetite for sex and no taste for relationships. I suspect that she had been looking for a prince; however what she got was a frog. As I thought about this more, I thought this story would make a great picture even though it is very sad. It’s sad because many people today do not even know how we got to this point.
In the United States we live in a time when two generations of people have little to no knowledge of God because prayer and bible reading were removed from the schools in the 60’s. This was a unique event in American history. It is amazing to see what happened since 1963, one year after prayer was removed from the schools. These charts are from the research of David Barton in his book America: To Pray or Not to Pray, 1994. What they show is shocking. Premarital sex along with all of the consequences increased. At the same time divorce rates also increased.

One would have to conclude that since 60’s many bad things happened by coincidence or taking prayer and bible reading out of school was a major event.
There is a verse in the bible that says the following:

The result of all of these court rulings is that the beds of young men and women have become spiritual battlefields. Our young people are all looking for something special. However, they have settled for random and/or anonymous sexual encounters that leave no one satisfied.
What kind of frog is that?
I believe that it is an American Green Tree Frog. Amazingly enough, this frog is sensitive to human touch. Humans have chemicals in their skin that are not good for the frog. Kissing them is definably a bad thing for the frog.
